Float On-Just Float on Your Back

When the tides of life turn against you and the current upsets your boat, don’t waste those tears on what might have been, just lie on your back and float.”    Author Unknown

Life has a tendency to toss us to and fro. It can upset the tides in our lives and flood our hearts and mind. Life has its turns, twists and shifts some float on their bellies and others float on their backs.

Currents can upset your boat; an unexpected storm may toss your boat up and down the large waves frighten you. Floating on your back allows you to move ahead and stay afloat for a longer time.

Sometimes in our businesses, obstacles hit us on all sides. It may mean we need to step back and regroup. Find out where the storm is coming from, can you calm the storm? Just get on your back and float. Put some thought to the situation it will help you regroup.

If you boat is moving with fast currents float with it move forward and steer as straight as you can. When the currents become rough and storms it you on all sides float, fighting the storm will not move you any faster.

Something powerful occurs when we withstand the tides of life. Why would the tides of life come against you? Is it a freak of nature? Oh this is a good one, it is just my time? Or everyone goes through that, this too shall pass.

Here’s a powerful prayer that I use New Living Translation (©2007)
But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken!

The tides of life take a look at the tides in your life and then do not let them overcome and take you down were you are floating on your stomach. Floating on your back keeps you afloat. Remember the benefits given unto you.

Business can be like a tide, and if you are not careful it may drown you. Be not afraid it may be new for you but float. As you are floating listen to others who have experienced the same tides you are experiencing now, like Bill Gelwick, Terri Patio. These two have a lot to say. The training and mentoring offered by them is helpful, they are kind, patient and understanding and willing to help others succeed. Find them on face-book and twitter follow them both and watch your knowledge soar you will float in to the pool of success were the waters are calm, warm and beautiful.
