In The Future-[Lies a Multitude of Adventure]

What does the future hold for you? There are many predictions, summations and plenty of debates. One thing for sure the future will be here the world continue to experience some type of crisis or another, things will occur that we have no control over and people will scramble around in a daze wondering what to do in the future.

If we open a quarrel between past and present, we shall find that we have lost the future.
Winston Churchill

Opening a quarrel between past and present, wow, this quote is powerful, to see and hear past and future in action. I could image past standing on one side of the street and present on the other side yelling at the top of its head. Past saying, “we won’t survive,” and present saying, “yes we will”. Past continues, “There is no room for internet business, no need for future gas free cars, why the need for IPADS, Nooks, Kindles and Home Based Businesses. These things are not needed.” Future says, “Or you nuts, technology rules.”

Embracing the future is important. I spoke with someone Saturday seasoned in age. The following was stated, “Computers, it is a mess, these children of this generation can’t even hold a conversation all they do is text each other no socialization at all.” Now, a younger person who text, uses IPAD, Computers and all the technology available said, “Our generation still speak with other, we use texting as a tool, we read more because of the Kindle, we use letters for words, they may want to create jobs for decoders this we can do.” I cracked up, the gap in thought from 18 to 84 wow.

In the future hold great new exciting adventures will you embrace or fold. I read a scripture today entitled Everything Is Meaningless.

Everything Is Meaningless

“Everything Is Meaningless,” says the Teacher, “utterly meaningless,” What do people get for all their hard work? Generations come and go, but nothing really changes. The sun rises and sets and hurries around to rise again. The wind blows south and north, here and there, twisting back and forth, getting nowhere. The rivers and flows again to the sea. Everything is so weary and tiresome! No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content.

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. What can you point to that is new? How do you know it didn’t already exist long ago? We don’t remember what happened in those former times. And in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now. (Ecclesiastic 1:1-9 the Book).

No need to debate between the past and future, if there is a debate then the future is lost.
